Welcome to the Ned's Golfing Society!
Affectionately known as the "Diviners". The golfing society was formed in
March 2004 after an introductory event at the beautiful Augustine Golf
Course. This outing, comprising 16 hardy individuals, was so successful that
it was decided to form a society. Based on similar organizations in Ireland
and England, all run out of fine establishments such as Ned Devines, the
society exists for golf, fun (craic) and camaraderie.
Events are held monthly and information will be posted regularly to this web
site. We completed our first year on 2/28/2005 and, now in our 8th year with
over 80 members as of 3/1/2012.
Old Hickory, Raspberry Falls, Augustine and Bull Run are Ned's Golfing
Society home courses. Members receive approximately 20% discount at both
courses, 364 days a year.
Ned's Golfing Society is a 501C 7 tax exempt organization and we donate
regularly to local charities. Our 2012 charitable partners are once again

who construct accommodation for relatives and friends of recuperating
members of the military near their rehabilitation hospitals and The Salute
Military Golf Association (
www.smga.org)
who encourage and coach Wounded Warriors to take up the game of golf. The
Society donated $20,000 in 2011.
In September 2012, we will again host a Wounded Warrior Golf Tournament,
this year at Herndon Centennial in which 25 of our wounded veteran heroes
will participate. We will donate 100% of the days proceeds to this great
cause
