We had the auction and draw at Ned's on Saturday.  What a great night, thanks to all of you who could make it.  The draw is posted on the website.

RULES:

All matches must be played before the end of the month denoted at the top of the bracket.  The first round must be played by May 31st.

No extensions will be granted and a forfeit will be the result decided by the committee based on the effort involved in trying to arrange the match

The handicaps at the first of each month will be used for THE ENTIRE MONTH.  THEY WILL NOT ADJUST AFTER THE 15th. May 1st handicaps are attached courtesy of Mike Foster

All matches will be played at Pleasant Valley, blue tees for men, red tees for ladies, unless mutually agreed by both parties
If there is a rules debate, call the proshop for a decision.  If you cannot agree play two balls and the committee will decide
Handicaps will be decided by deducting one index from the other and taking 75%. A result of .5 rounds up (4.5 becomes 5 for example) and strokes will be given on the appropriate holes starting at handicap 1.

If the match is all square after 18, you have the option to continue to sudden death if the course can fit you in or a rematch of another 18 holes.

We are playing for a lot of money so be honest, respectful to your opponent and accept the result graciously.  No one has been allowed to enter without a proven USGA handicap so your committee does NOT want to hear anything about "sandbagger" or other such comments. This competition is as fair as we can make it.
