Finance: We have plenty of $$ in the bank. Please stay tuned as we do plan to post a monthly statement shortly. We are owed lots from matchplay bids, raffle tickets and some renewals. At Augustine you will have an envelope with the amount you owe so please bring the $$ with you, along with the stubs.
Membership: We have three potential members who will be playing with committee members at Augustine
Augustine: This months event is at 11 on SUNDAY the 28th at Augustine. Augustine is in Stafford and is a great course. In fact it was the course on which we first played a small outing after which we decided to form the society. Please be on time.

Handicaps: We are getting there thanks to Mike Foster and your cooperation. Several key points: You are responsible for posting rounds that you play on your own. Please do so every time you play. We confirm that you should post matchplay scores, provided you play all 18 holes, even though there will be gimmes. We decided this at the start of the year, even though it is not strictly correct, because we wanted to start members posting. We will review this policy at the end of the year.
Raffle: We have allocated all tickets for the first time. NOW PLEASE SELL THEM AND BRING THE MONEY ASAP!!
Kids R First: Kids R First is a great local charity which provides school supplies to local kids. Judy Bowns, George's lovely wife is very active in it and it actually was our charity of choice for the first several years. We decided to donate $200 to the cause. They are having a golf tournament on June 22nd at Hidden Creek. Please let me know if you are interested in playing or in sponsoring a foursome
ESPN 2 man event: John O'Leary is organizing an event at PV on 7/11. The winners will go to a regional event with a chance to play in Las Vegas with John. The cost is only $90 per man. Stay tuned for more detail.
